Beijing-based cryptocurrency mining agency Bitmain has reportedly violated tax rules in China, with native authorities imposing main fines.

Bitmain Applied sciences has been slapped with a tax penalty from the Beijing Municipal Workplace of the State Administration of Taxation, the native information company Sina Finance reported on April 11.

The authority fined Bitmain about 25 million Chinese language yuan ($3.7 million), the report notes, citing particulars from China’s information registry of personal and public firms, Qichacha.

Based on the info, Bitmain was penalized on April 4, 2023, with the agency allegedly failing to pay private earnings taxes in accordance with China’s legal guidelines on the administration of tax assortment.
