Inventory and crypto buying and selling platform eToro stated in a June 12 electronic mail shared with CryptoSlate that it could restrict entry to sure crypto positions for customers within the U.S.

In its message, eToro stated that customers primarily based within the U.S. wouldn’t be capable of open new positions in Algorand (ALGO), Decentraland (MANA), Dash (DASH), and Polygon (MATIC) after 6:00 a.m. ET on July 12, 2023.

It stated that U.S. clients would be capable of maintain and promote positions in these property they’d already opened. It added that non-U.S. clients wouldn’t be affected by the change.

The corporate cited laws as the explanation for its resolution, noting that it has acted as a result of “current developments” in a “quickly evolving regulatory panorama.”
